Sailing the Adriatic Sea through Croatia July 24-31, 2027

Set sail from magnificent Dubrovnik on an unforgettable journey through Southern Dalmatia, discovering some of Croatia’s most iconic islands, historic towns and beautiful coastal scenery.

Over seven nights, we’ll cruise north through the Adriatic, visiting Ston, Mljet, Korčula, Vis, Hvar, Bol and Trogir, with time to enjoy guided sightseeing, local food and wine experiences, refreshing swim stops and relaxed evenings ashore.

This itinerary brings together many of the places that make Croatia such an extraordinary destination — from the medieval walls of Dubrovnik and Korčula to the natural beauty of Mljet National Park, the island charm of Vis, the lively waterfront of Hvar and the UNESCO-listed old town of Trogir.

Day 1 — Dubrovnik (D)

Board MV Adriatic Sky in Dubrovnik, settle into your cabin and get ready to begin an incredible week exploring Croatia’s beautiful Adriatic coast.

Later, we’ll head into Dubrovnik’s magnificent Old Town for an included guided walking tour. This is one of those places that really does live up to the pictures — beautiful limestone streets, impressive city walls and centuries of Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque architecture, all surrounded by that unmistakable blue Adriatic.

Then we’ll take the cable car up Mount Srđ, where the views over Dubrovnik’s historic rooftops, ancient ramparts, the Adriatic and the Elaphiti Islands are absolutely spectacular.

Afterwards, we’ll return to Adriatic Sky, meet our crew and fellow travellers, and enjoy a welcome cocktail and dinner onboard — a pretty wonderful way to begin our Croatian adventure.

Day 2 — Dubrovnik – Slano (Ston) (B, L, T)

After breakfast, we’ll leave Dubrovnik behind and enjoy one last beautiful view of the city as we begin cruising north along the Adriatic.

Today brings our first chance to really settle into the rhythm of Croatia — time on the water, a swim stop along the way, and then an afternoon exploring Ston, one of the most interesting little towns on this route.

From Slano, we’ll travel to Ston for an included guided visit. Known for its remarkable medieval walls and centuries-old saltworks, Ston also has another claim to fame — its oysters.

Our excursion includes entrance to the Salt Museum and Ston City Walls, along with a guided tour of the town. We’ll also enjoy a special oyster tasting, giving us a chance to experience one of the region’s best-known local traditions.

After our visit, we’ll return to the ship and enjoy the evening in Slano.

Overnight in Slano.
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Tasting

Day 3 — Slano (Ston) – Mljet National Park (B, L, CD)

This morning we continue north to the beautiful island of Mljet, one of Croatia’s greenest and most peaceful islands.

There’s even a little mythology attached to this one — legend says the Greek hero Odysseus spent years here after being captivated by the nymph Calypso.

Once we arrive, we’ll join our cruise manager for a walk through Mljet National Park to its famous saltwater lakes, followed by a boat ride to St. Mary’s Island. Here we’ll visit the ancient Benedictine monastery, old abbey and 12th-century church — a wonderfully atmospheric spot in the middle of the lake.

If you prefer a little independent exploring, there’s also time to enjoy the park on your own, with bicycles, kayaks and other rentals available locally.

Tonight is a special one onboard: our Captain’s Dinner with live entertainment.

Overnight in Polača or Pomena.

Day 4 — Mljet National Park – Korčula (B, L)

This morning we leave Mljet and set sail toward the beautiful island of Korčula, with lunch served onboard in one of the secluded bays along the way.

We’ll arrive in Korčula Town this afternoon for an included guided walking tour through one of the best-preserved medieval towns in the Mediterranean. Often associated with Marco Polo, Korčula is a maze of stone streets, historic buildings and fortified walls, all set against a gorgeous Adriatic backdrop.

One of the things I love about Korčula is its unusual fishbone street pattern, designed centuries ago to help channel breezes through the Old Town and keep it naturally cooler.

After our tour, the evening is yours to enjoy. Korčula has a wonderful selection of waterfront restaurants and bars, so this is a perfect night to wander, find somewhere lovely for dinner and simply enjoy being there.

Overnight in Korčula.
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch

Day 5 — Korčula – Vis / Komiža (B, L, T)

Today we continue to the island of Vis, a place that still feels a little more untouched than many of Croatia’s better-known islands.

Vis has a fascinating history. It was once an important Greek colony, and much later served as a Yugoslav military base until 1991. Because the island was relatively isolated for so long, much of its traditional character, architecture and atmosphere have been beautifully preserved. Wild rosemary, capers and sage still grow across the landscape, adding to that very authentic island feel.

We’ll enjoy an included local wine tasting, and afterwards there’s time to explore at your own pace. Depending on where we berth, you may want to visit the remains of the Roman thermal baths, the City Museum, or simply stroll the waterfront and soak up the atmosphere.

Our overnight will be in Vis or Komiža, depending on berth availability — both are wonderfully atmospheric and give you a real sense of island life.

Day 6 — Vis / Komiža – Biševo (Blue Cave) – Hvar (B, L)

We’ll start early today and cruise toward the small island of Biševo for a chance to visit the famous Blue Cave — one of Croatia’s most remarkable natural sights.

Mesmerizing Blue Cave of Bisevo with majestic blue water and atmosphere

The cave visit is always weather-dependent, so Mother Nature has the final say, but if conditions cooperate, this is absolutely one of those unforgettable “only in Croatia” experiences.

From there, we continue toward Hvar, with a swim stop and lunch onboard among the beautiful Pakleni Islands before arriving in the afternoon.

Hvar is one of Croatia’s best-known islands — famous for its sunshine, lavender fields, elegant waterfront and lively atmosphere. We’ll enjoy an included guided tour, taking in the Renaissance cathedral, the historic theatre dating back to 1612, and the beautiful old town.

If you’re up for it, the walk up to Fortica Fortress is well worth it for those incredible views over Hvar harbour and the Pakleni Islands.

The evening is yours to enjoy, with plenty of restaurants, bars and cafés to choose from.

Day 7 — Hvar – Bol – Trogir (B, L)

After breakfast, set sail toward the island of Brač and Bol, home to the famous Zlatni Rat (Golden Horn) — one of Croatia’s most recognizable beaches. Enjoy a refreshing swim near Zlatni Rat before lunch onboard as we continue toward Trogir.

Upon arrival, enjoy an included guided walking tour of Trogir, exploring the narrow stone streets, historic buildings and beautiful UNESCO-listed old town.

We have requested docking in Trogir city centre for our private charter; however, final docking arrangements are determined by local port authorities. Should we dock at Marina Baotić, return transfers between the marina and Trogir are included.

Enjoy your final evening in Croatia before returning to the ship for our last night onboard.

Overnight in the Trogir area.
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch

Day 8 — Trogir Area (B)

Enjoy one final breakfast onboard before saying goodbye to our crew and the new friends we’ve shared this wonderful week with.

Disembarkation is by 9:00 a.m., bringing our Adriatic journey to an end after seven nights of beautiful islands, historic towns, incredible scenery and some very memorable Croatian experiences.
